TRAINEES, VOLUNTEERS
There are many reasons why people apply for a
vacancy with our Bureau but from our experience earning lots of money is not normally top
of the list of reasons, although trained operatives can certainly earn top dollar.
The emphasis however is on the word trained, a
training which often costs hundreds of pounds and in most
cases such advertisements as ours are normally not what they seem. This one however is a
genuine attempt to recruit operatives from all walks of life , to pay a fair market price
for the work done and to supply them with as much or as little work as they require after
evaluating and training them. We offer "on-the-job" training
for those who do not come from an intelligence or security background or who
cannot afford either the time or the money to undertake official training.
Every case that we are entrusted with is
different. We can therefore not generalise as to what sort of person is needed as every
applicant is also different. This is why it may take us some time to review your
application.
Every person has special talents, our task is to
discover those talents in particular the ones that one would normally not put on a CV. I
would like at this point to stress that we never advocate, condone or practice anything
illegal. We Investigate Crime and Protect those who need it, not practice it.
It isn't important to us which profession you
have or how fit you may be. People who can supply us with information and who have access
to data are just as valuable as those in the field. The same may apply to a police
officer, lorry driver or any other profession but we stress that we would never expect or
ask for any information which is not public domain knowledge or where there is a conflict
of interests. A Lawyer or other such professional person may be able to advise us and
train for us and may enjoy surveillance. He may not be very good at preventing a gang
carrying out racist attacks or protecting a VIP but if the victim has an aging relative
being harassed he will most certainly be grateful to those of a more physical disposition
able to prevent this.
We assist many private people who are not
in a position to pay under certain circumstances and it is these cases which we ask for
the help of volunteers for " in the field " training with a view to
offering them paid work later. It is rather like a discreet Territorial army.
The name "Intertecs" came into being
because we started as International detectives.
We believe in only using well trained, stable
and disciplined operatives and therefore put all our successful applicants through
training which all takes time . Impatience is therefore seen in the initial stages as
undesirable as such training must always take a secondary role to our actual workload.
After an initial appraisal of your written
information, it is necessary for us to build up a psychological profile of each trainee
which as an example may be carried out as follows:-
e.g. You may be asked to observe someone in your
local area. This may be a fellow operative, someone who knows they are being observed or
it may be a genuine surveillance. We will test your powers of observation, report writing,
and attention to detail.
You may be given a name and maybe an address and
asked to report on everything you can find out about this person in a given time. Here we
will evaluate how much information you could gather before the target person became aware
of your enquiries.
There will be opportunities for you to
participate in discussions and lectures, on such subjects as, powers of citizen's rights
and arrest etc as well as opportunities to train with other operatives.
You will also be offered, under no obligation,
training in various driving, surveillance, interview and self-defence techniques.
Training will include working on genuine cases
but please remember that training is, for us, expensive and extremely intensive in
administration so genuine cases have to take priority. Offers from administrative
volunteers offering work from home are always appreciated. ( It's not all car chases)
We would like to point out, that whilst on
such training exercises, you will not be paid so if you feel you are being used don't
register.
At no time will we expect you to carry out any
assignment that goes against your beliefs, morals or abilities. Your future with us will
never be jeopardized by your refusal to carry out an assignment but we may ask why. Even
after accepting an assignment you may give it back at any time that you feel you are
overtaxed.
On completion of your training, we will make a
decision as would any employer. If we believe you are correct for us you will be given an
appointment to discuss your progress and future with us. From here, it will then be
decided if you are to be taken on, on a permanent basis should you so wish.
All trainee's will be issued with
"Intertecs" identity cards which are the property of "Intertecs" and
which must be returned on demand. We never advocate showing these cards however, apart
from to extremely good friends who can be trusted as much of the time your work can be
carried out better in anonymity and undercover.
Despite this you are however able to
recruit a few choice friends to assist you if you wish, thus making up a small cell which
you lead..
Information gathering is an extremely important
aspect in our work and therefore, you will be taught how to gather information through
such methods as infiltration, observations, surveillance and witnesses. Once again we
stress that you will never be asked to illegally obtain information but we are very
interested to hear about data information which you are in a position to supply us with.
Obviously there are many types of equipment
which are used.
All trainees will be offered training with
equipment such as radios, cameras, bugs etc., This will include radio procedure, phonetic
alphabet, placing and the legal use of such.
If you feel after reading this that
you would like to take your application as a trainee further please let us know
by email to admin@intertecs.com
Intertecs is like a small community in itself and as such
requires staff globally on a full-time , Part time, volunteer and trainee basis. Normally
the staff are based in their home with a local safe house to report to in the local
community dependent upon the security condition (sec. con) level.
Each operative is asked to bring cases for our
volunteers to our attention when they believe they are a worthy cause. reportcrime@intertecs.com
All trainees are offered work at the end of their
course
